Registrations
If you have never registered as a member of kindred, (someone related by blood to the Carter family), you will need to register, to do so please complete the Roll of Kindred Registration Form, alternatively you can download a printable version here.

Applications
We provide grants only to kindred in genuine financial need.
To assess your eligibility, we’ll ask for details about your income and assets through our application form. This helps us understand your situation and ensure the right level of support.
Important update: The Trustees have updated their grant-making policy. If you have savings of £6,000 or more, you are no longer eligible to apply for a grant.
Your personal information is handled securely and confidentially in line with data protection requirements.
We will accept applications for 2026 kindred applications only between Wednesday 7th January and up to 5pm Wednesday 11th February.
The Trustees consider applications at their annual meeting which is held in March, all applicants will be advised of the outcome by the end of March 2026.
